About Us 

Premier Care are excited to be recruiting a for a team of Night Owls. We are looking to open a new overnight service and would love to hear from you. Currently we have a big influence in the domiciliary care industry already, delivering 6000 hours of care per week, over Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, to the elderly community within their own home, we are very excited to now be able to offer night sits to our service users. 

Job Description 

As a night owl, you will be enabling our service users to remain in their own homes while bringing well needed respite to their loved ones. You will be working within a team of professional, caring and compassionate individuals. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our service users are able to remain in their own homes.

What we ask of our Night Owls 

  • To be positive, always well-presented and act as an ambassador for Premier Care. 
  • To support the Community Registered Manager in all activities requested. 
  • Supervise and support a community team. 
  • Work in line with all company policies and procedures, local and national guidance and legislation. 
  • Attend all relevant training required by the company. 
  • Communicate clearly, effectively and timely to the Community Registered Manager or relevant department. 
  • Support and develop new team members during their induction and Care Certificate. 
  • Responsible for all administrative tasks and IT system updates in association with your work shift actions 
  • Deliver outstanding quality service in line with service user care plans. 
  • Be flexible 
  • Show a willingness to learn and develop  
  • Support Premier Care with Growth whilst maintaining high standards of care. 
  • Ensure our service users receive a high standard of care 

 

Person specification 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and compassionate Night care assistant to support our Night Owl service. As a night care assistant your role will include delivering our holistic caring ethos through care and companionship to Services users. 

We would prefer you will have previous experience working as a Carer; you will be confident and outgoing with the ability to recognise customer needs and be able to confidently offer solutions to maintain independence. 

It is essential that you are IT literate and confident to work with a range of technologies, software and in a paperless environment. 

Ideally, you will have excellent administration, record keeping, communication and organisation skills as well as strong attention to detail. You will have a driving license and access to a vehicle.
